#StopWrex is heading to Downtown LA for a day of Music, Food, and Fun

Sunstock Solar & Music Festival is the first festival of its kind, centered around clean energy and brighter futures. Produced in partnership with cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA, the festival focuses on clean energy, sustainability, and positive change, while boasting some of today’s top acts in music.

This year, the Milt Olin Foundation is thrilled to be among the exhibiting vendors during the festival, and will be hosting a booth dedicated to the Stop Wrex Movementand distracted driving initiatives. Through music, culture, food, art, and sustainability, Sunstock is bringing together communities to think about solving the problems of tomorrow.

Headlining this year’s fest is Trapdoor Social, one of the driving forces behind the festival concept as a whole, Robert Delong, Ra Ra Riot, Run River North, and more.

Please join us Saturday, September 9th and support a bright, sustainable future for all. All profits from the festival will help provide GRID alternatives for LA homeless shelters.

Don’t forget to stop by our booth and spin our game wheel to win a prize!

For our part, the Milt Olin Foundation continues to find innovative and creative ways to spread awareness to the dangers of distracted driving.

The Milt Olin Foundation created “Wrex,” a loveable, dumb T-rex. Wrex is notorious for driving distracted. Not only does Wrex text while driving, he engages in other dangerous activities like taking selfies, using apps, eating, drinking, reaching for objects in his car…you get the idea.

Wrex is the reminder to all drivers to PUT DOWN THEIR PHONES and drive #HandsOff.

Get involved and connect with us through email and social media:  give us a “like” on Facebook, follow us on Instagram and twitter for an opportunity to get an Amazon Echo Show. Your support and voice will help us reach millions of drivers around the world.

Do it again and up your chances to win an Echo Show!
